Position Summary
Lead development and implementation of product or market plans by providing assistance to and liaison between field sales, customers and Rosemount personnel.
Major Duties/Fuctions:
1. Maintains in-depth knowledge of Rosemount products and markets. Provide technical assistance and information to Rosemount personnel and customers. Provide application knowledge and expertise. Provide input into the development of new products, product line extensions and product modifications. Assure product management sensitivity to market needs, requirements, and changes. Identify new market opportunities and recommend strategies to capitalize on them. Participate in field visits to customer sites.
2. Participate in business pursuit efforts. Lead/support the development and implementation of product/market strategies. Develop training program for Rosemount sales personnel and customer representatives. Prepare and present product/market sales presentations. Prepare technical and promotional literature. Recommend price structure on existing products and product line extensions. Provide sales and booking forecasts and track against plan. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of competition, their products and their markets. Maintain a technical understanding of competitive products.
3. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of competitive price structures and price strategies. Understand competitive marketing strategies.
4. Maintain a positive Rosemount image with customers and peers. Assist in coordination of industry or product trade shows. Assure product or industry related articles are published in appropriate journals. Provide input to product or industry journals on articles relevant to Rosemount. Provide customer support and resolve issues.
5. Perform other duties as required.
